At the end of 2022, IMA-HOME found themselves inundated with requests from students, universities and colleges looking for opportunities. Eager to support students in the first steps of their careers, IMA-HOME launched their Early Careers Opportunities initiative.
This was the very first apprenticeship scheme of its kind for IMA-HOME and saw them welcoming applications from people wanting to study and build careers in roles related to Data, Content Production and Digital Marketing. The scheme was all about providing early careers opportunities and is the first step towards building working relationships with colleges and schools to create alternative paths into the creative industries.
In addition to this, IMA-HOME also opened applications for their first ever placement season running from April 2023. Placements were open to university students interested in careers in Digital Marketing, Creative and Client Services.
Kicking things off in Leeds, applications opened up in February this to local universities and IMA-HOME were blown away by the response. To provide students with a real-life experience, applicants were invited to respond to a tailor-made brief and attend a pitch day hosted at the IMA-HOME Leeds HQ.
After some outstanding pitches, IMA-HOME were pleased to welcome Supriya, Caitlin and Katherine who completed their 2-week placement with IMA-HOME working across Client Services, Creative and Retail Creative Teams.
Ella Kennedy, Talent Acquisition Manager commented, “These placements are the first of many steps we are taking to provide early careers opportunities. They ultimately form part of our long-term recruitment strategy, which will see us grow our own talent, ensure equal opportunities, and help to raise the profile of the rich diversity of careers within creative and advertising.”
These schemes are the first of many paid opportunities being offered to students by IMA-HOME, so if you or someone you know may be interested in an IMA-HOME placement or apprenticeship, then check out IMA-HOME’s latest opportunities here.
