Compliance to Contractual Retail Standards

 The automotive industry has to adhere to certain Retail Standards. The BMW Group asked Retail Active to audit all BMW and Mini Retailers across the network to ensure compliance to these contractual Retail Standards.

They also asked the agency to provide the BMW group with one system to access results and compare data across their Brand Standards, New Retailer, Motorrad, Technical and Corporate Fleet divisions.

 Retail Active trained a national team of automotive industry expert auditors to complete audits by brand; developed a fully customised and branded portal built for Auditors, Retailers and Head Office clients to access audit surveys and results; and reported non-compliance with action plans to rectify issues and achieve contractual requirements.

The audits resulted in the provision of a central view and instant understanding of entire network compliance and cost to complete outstanding actions. Network compliance data was used to support corporate identity decision making and re-issue of franchise agreements. 215 dealerships were audited, with 152 Retail Standards data points checked per audit and Retail Active created over 1000 actions plans to assist dealers in correcting standards
